JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose: To implement the overall salon strategy.
The Account Developer is responsible for driving listing & creating demand for the products across the salon channel, while ensuring recommendation and right usage of our process range
Main responsibilities
• Establishing strong partnerships with our customers (Salons & Beauty Schools) to enable outstanding visibility of MPL brands
• Deliver Product & Process knowledge training,
• Gather trade insights - Competitor activity & new product introduction.
• Lead the listing & introduction of new products in the salon Channel.
• Implement the salon channel – Development & Activation strategy.
• Drive the Salon Picture of Success and Execution Standards.
• Salon Channel Promotion implementation
• Gather consumer insights in the salon channel – Product efficacy, consumer feedback & experience.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
• A Form 6 Certificate, Diploma, Degree in business or any other relevant field
• A Certificate in Hair dressing or Sales Management is an added advantage
• A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience in the field of sales.
• Comprehensive understanding of the in-country consumer market & Hair dressing with strong acumen for execution
• Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
• Frequency of travel: Occasional travel is required with the assigned territory and may require overnight stays
