JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To monitor and assess performance of broadcasting sector;
2. To advise on technical issues pertaining broadcasting services and emerging broadcasting technologies;
3. To develop strategies for universal access for broadcasting services;
4. To monitor emerging broadcasting technologies and issue regulatory advisory for technology adoption in the country;
5. To advise on issues pertaining Broadcasting technical standards;
6. To conduct regular analysis on the broadcasting media performance for content creation, content delivery and content consumption and advise accordingly;
7. To advise on strategies for increasing local content in Broadcasting media;
8. To develop mathematical models to represent the cost structure of various broadcasting services accurately;
9. To conduct review of broadcasting policy and regulations;
10. To develop rules and guidelines for broadcasting sector;
11. To participate on issues pertaining study and research for broadcasting services;
12. To perform any other official duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Broadcasting Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions and registered by the Engineers Registration Board as Graduate Engineer.
