Tume ya Taifa ya Mipango ya Matumizi ya Ardhi (NLUPC) is seeking to fill 11 positions for GIS Technician II.

Responsibilities or duties,

• Coding of raw data on source documents by applying established and clearly defined procedures.
• Key in data from source documents
• Assists in reviewing data for accuracy and documentation standards and procedures
• Making analysis and preparation of land use maps.
• Assist in preparing guidelines and standards for land use planning maps; and
• To perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

• Diploma in one of the following fields: Geomatics, and Geographical Information System, Urban Reginal Planning, Urban Rural Planning, Infrastructure planning qualifications from a recognized institution.
